Don’t worry. The kitten is just fine. It’s the gifts that disappeared. I had to republish the last post, so you can’t see the actual post date, but I can tell you it was in the third week of March 2020. Hmmmm… I wonder what happened then….
The gifts were almost always delivered when no one was at home. Occasionally the little dodo would think we were gone and we’d hear howling on the other side of the house. When tracked down, we would find a forlorn kitten dragging a soon to be gift. Once spotted, the kitten would drop it and go about kitten business as if nothing ever happened.
In March 2020 the world shut down and it was particularly bad where we were in the SF Bay Area. We hardly left the house and if we did it was for a quick trip. Kitten happiness no doubt improved while the rest of ours decayed. And the gift stopped coming.
We have since moved and get our and about more and more. There were two recent gifting attempts, though kitten couldn’t quite figure out where to put it. So I figure it is time to dust off our favorite kitten gifting tracker and get ready for another gifting future.
